Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Tracking / Single Track Sew-In.

A single-track sew-in uses a narrow braid track and hand-sewn weft to create a lightweight, no-show extension. Each track is a small braid line; price covers three tracks. Note: you must supply your own hair—hair is not provided by the salon.

Installation typically takes 1 to 2 hours depending on track placement and hair preparation. We include three tracks in the base price; more tracks or added styling may increase time. Please arrive with clean, detangled hair and the extensions you purchased.

No — properly installed single-track sew-ins are designed to be discreet. The small braid lines sit close to the scalp and we sew extensions tightly for a no-show finish. Visibility depends on hair type, extension density, and correct placement.

Maintain with gentle cleansing and lightweight conditioners applied away from the roots. Avoid heavy oils at the scalp, minimize heat, and sleep on a silk bonnet to reduce friction. Inspect tracks monthly and book touch-ups to prevent lifting and protect natural hair.

Light exercise is fine but protect the tracks from prolonged chlorine or saltwater exposure. Rinse hair immediately after swimming and use a clarifying rinse to remove chemicals. Secure tracks during workouts, and avoid excessive tugging to preserve the integrity of the braids.

No — we do not provide hair for any service. Clients must bring their own extensions matched in color and quality. We recommend pre-inspected, stretched weft or bundles and arriving with clean, tangle-free hair to ensure the best, most secure sew-in installation.
